Access to the museum and the rooms of the new and old buildings is barrier-free. The transition from the new building to the historic town villa can be bridged via a lift behind the cash desk or via six steps with handrails in the exhibition. A glass elevator provides access to the upper and lower floors.

Toilets and checkrooms
There is a toilet for guests with limited mobility, checkrooms and lockers in the basement.

Seating facilities
There are various seating options in the rooms of the old building. There are folding stools available that can be taken into the exhibition rooms.
